Anonymous asked: are you planning to go see 'the beatles: the lost concert' film?
I am not. Believe it or not, I’m actually not a fan of The Beatles. I find their sound annoying, in fact. Which I’ve been told automatically implies that I don’t have a right to say I enjoy music at all and that I’m a poser. But, hey, it’s just not my kinda music. I appreciate how much they did to change modern music but that doesn’t mean I want to listen to them, or see a movie about them.
Soundcloud kind of sucks at auto-posting to my tumblr like I tell it to do.
Anyway, I just uploaded my old album On Planet AlTech to Soundcloud for your streaming pleasure. Check it out if you haven’t already. LOVE YOUUU~
EDIT: wow apparently the share button works but doesn’t work for sets. HERE YOU GUYS, JEEZ.

Apparently this is the face my sim makes when the room is messy. I hope I don’t do that in real life. But I probably do.
This is how I spent my Friday night. Well, I also made myself an excellent meal of steak, broccoli and mashed potatoes and then later I bought myself some new undies, but mostly I made this song.
It’s definitely a work in progress. It’s not mixed, mastered, and I’m probably going to muck around with the actual arrangement as well so the final result should sound pretty different, but eh, we’ll see if I ever get around to it. There’s some harsh dissonance toward the end that I’m really not a big fan of.
The basic idea behind this song, if any of you are curious about how much of an artsyfartsylittlefaggot I am, was basically comparing my current life goals and ambitions with the ones I had when I was a young child and seeing how much your dreams change. Cliche thoughts from a growing boy~ Not very interesting, right? I know. I know.
Eventually, I do want to add vocals to it, but I say that about almost all my songs these days. Problem is, I really couldn’t sing a note to save my life, so most songs that I write with vocals in mind generally wind up sitting on the shelf forever.
In other news, I watched the movie 50/50 tonight. Good stuff, man. You should all go watch it.
Anonymous asked: Temper your intervals! For starters, read "How Equal Temperament Ruined Harmony."
Although I’m really interested in what you just said, I have no idea what that means, and after looking the book up and looking at the names of the chapters, I got even more confused. I have the music theory knowledge of an infant. While I’m thirsty to learn more about music theory, that does not seem like a good place to start out for me. 2deep4me
